  1. Hello everyone! My surgery was on July 1st and I'm finally starting to get out of the house for a few hours a day without fatigue or pain. I'm not going back to work until next month, but I'm finding it a little difficult to get in all the water/protein/food that I need in a day when I go out. How did everyone transition back into working? I'm afraid it will be even more difficult to get all my food and Water in since I travel inbetween two offices regularly. It's hard enough to fit it all in when I'm at home since I'm never hungry, but I'm really trying. Im just looking for some tips and advice. Thanks!
  2. I live in California and I'll be getting my surgery here at the West LA Kaiser Surgery Center. I'm also very anxious but equal amounts excited! I only wish I was getting it sooner.

  5. I'll be getting my surgery on July 1st. My pre-op consultation is June 17th. Can't wait!
  6. I was recently told I should get the lap band because it's "safer" and that I will just end up dying if I go through with this surgery. It really makes me regret telling people, it feels like they try to talk me out of it every few days! You just have to ignore the naysayers and keep pushing forward. Some people just can't accept change and I think a lot of it is jealousy disguised as caring.
