  2. I asked ages ago and never got a request. Maybe no one is keeping the page up.

  4. I don't have issues with the texture when it is in a more soup/stew form. Plain ground chicken though is a bit off putting for me.
  5. http://www.weightandwellness.com/resources/recipes/soups-and-stews/white-chicken-chili/ I've also used the one in my Betty Crocker cookbook. I'll be honest, I never follow a recipe exactly so these are just guides. Another thing I've liked is boneless chicken breast in the crock or Dutch oven with a jar of salsa. Cook till meat flakes apart and add 3/4 to a full brick of cream cheese (turns a pink color). That's ok puréed and my family eats it as flautas or tacos.
  6. White chicken chili puréed is quite good (mine isn't too spicy). My dr wants me to eat 1/4 c protein 1/4 c fruit/veggie so I've had butternut parsnip soup, white asparagus soup, and various puréed fruits as well.
  7. Jshaw. I had surgery on 4/4. I also had two hernias repaired. I have not returned to work yet because I still have a lot of pain on the left side. I sleep in a recliner due to low back pain as well. I only take Tylenol. I had a CT scan it appears that my stomach is still inflamed but no leaks or infections. The liver and pancreas are working well. It appears as though I have just over done it (I have a 9month old and 3 yr old). What I've learned is that it doesn't matter what you read or who you talk to but until you do this yourself you'll never really know. It will get better!

  9. I request a SCOP patch every time I'm put under. Love it!
  10. My girlfriend's son has been on it for two years. I think he takes half a capful in the morning. Not that I recommend that but I do know someone who has been on it prolonged.
  11. Colace was recommended post pregnancy and post vsg. I was told it works best when taken in the morn by both hospitals. I was also told to take Senna/Senokot at night. Two colace two senna. Works great. I am 3 weeks post surgery and down to one colace every other day.
  12. Also, I use a lot of dal in the foods we make. Moong dal, toor dal and Chana daal but I'm not counting carbs. If you like Indian food you won't even notice it.
  13. I have a 9 month old and I make food for the both of us. I have two great baby food cookbooks. It seems the key in most recipes is spice, spice and more spice. We also expierament a lot. For instance steamed carrots with apples, pears, peaches or apricots (all steamed) are quite yummy. Smoked salmon is great puréed or mashed well with dill or tarragon and lemon or lime juice or a horseradish sauce. Baby can't get enough of it as well.
  14. Did what work for me? Sorry, I'm not sure what you are referring to. Personally, even though I am only two weeks out so far I'd say everything has worked for me. This has been a great adventure but I'd say that about my life in general.

  16. NtvTxn. I'd say you're a rare breed. Seems most people obsess about the number on the scale. Glad it's working for you and you're right it's not a diet but a lifestyle.
  17. I have a friend who loves his "gruve"
  18. Ergosuite or SmartErgo. My employer purchased a bunch of licenses.
