Had to change my date from June 23rd to August 2nd....

I have told my parents, sisters and brothers and best friends. I have oy told 3 people I work with and dont want them to know.

My preop appointment is next thursday the 20th. Wahoo

I am waiting on my dr office to call and schedule my preop appointment ansdscheduling my surgery. I cant believe that it has almost been a year since I started this journey! So excited for whats to come.

I work for a music festival that is happening this weekend so I cant do my nutrition class until june 4th. Then I can schedule my surgery!

I got approved today! I couldnt be anymore excited.

I am impatient. I got the letter yesterday/saturday and she isnt in the office. Just curious if anybody has had this happen

I have done my 6 month supervised weight loss and my DR submitted it to my insurance company. I have got a letter in the mail saying it was denied because it was pre existing and I have to have had the insurance a year. The year is on May 1st. So my question is.... Can I resubmit next month? Do I need to still go to my monthly Dr appointments? Has this ever happened to anyone?

So, Here i am. I started this journey 7 months ago. I am waiting on my insurance approval, they say it could take up to a month because i did not have a medical record with documeted weight for one year. I am 5,5 and my starting weight was 285 as of today i weigh 257. I was ondering if there are any tips you can give me for pre-op. Things to do to insure it all goes smoothly?
