  7. Thanks CarrieP for the info. Do you know if they all pull the stomach out from the right side? This is my left upper abdominal side that's causing me some problems. I guess it would make sense as long as he took it out from the left side. Hmmmmmmm
  8. Hi- I am new to here and really wanted to see of others experiences right after surgery. I am losing weight (that's great) but didn't anticipate that I would still have this nagging pain on my left side near two of the incision sites. It almost feels deeper than the actual incision sites with some slight sweeling in that area. My doctor had said that after surgery I wouldn't have any problems picking up my 11 mo. old. Well....I waited 5 days anyways to try to pick him up and since I have, my left side has been bothering me even more. I don't have a fever or anything like that. I tried to carry him on my right hip and almost felt like a pulling sensation on my left side. I am only taking tylenol- but does this pain sound normal for one week out??? Maybe I am doing too much. My doc just made it seem like I could go right back to my usual tasks of a stay at home mom. I would really appreciate some input. Thanks
