  1. The type of Iron I was taking was a GNC brand Called Gentlesorb Iron dietary supplement.
  2. I personally would not start off with any meats puree or not. I would start with like cream of chicken, or really any creamed soup. Just because they are super easy on the stomach. There are several sites that can teach you how to make homemade cream soups as well if you enjoy cooking. What I have been doing is doing cream of mushroom or celery and mixing it with about 2-3oz of chicken broth so its not so thick. Also if you have access to the MyWeight soups, they are actually pretty good and have a lot of protein in them.
  3. So just as an FYI to everyone. Turns out the Iron i was taking was basically making my stomach inflamed along with my intestines. Also, taking tums (with calcium carbonate) is really bad for your GI tract. Your stomach cannot process this. My doc/surgeon said that all was well, no leaks or anything, just A LOT of inflammation. Thank you all for your feedback
  4. Hello. My name is Greg and I had my VSG on March 15 (so I am in week two.) I had a lot of pain during the 1st few days and I know this is normal. After week one I was actually feeling really great about everything, and then when I woke up yesterday (Tuesday 3/26) I felt terrible. I have had this constant, painful, burning diarrhea that will not stop. Also, when I try to eat something like pudding I just start feeling sick. This could be dumping syndrome, but I'm not 100% sure. I know this is going to get better, but I hate how I have been feeling this week. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I am glad that I found this sight. Thank you!
