Went to My bariatric surgeon today, had a very good visit. I told him about my friend saying that my weight lost scared her, because she felt it was to fast. He told me what ever I'm doing to continue because I will be loosing my most weight now and that it will taper off. So I will be doing a lot of brisk walking, light jogging and so forth. Thank you guys for all your support. Oh I'm down 42lbs since I started my weight lost Journey. You guys keep moving...

Hi; I don't post very often, I sit back and look at all the wonderful stories. Sunday a very good friend of mine mad me feel really bad about my weight lost. She told me my weight lost was scary to her. I had my surgery December 16th 2013, I weighted 247lbs now I'm at 206. I told her that's what the surgery does. I can't eat but so much plus my Surgeon wants me to walk, so I'm doing that and I guess that's what's taken the weight off so fast considering I'm only able to get between 500 or so calories in. So I guess I will stop walking and just let it come off but only if I'm getting 500 or so calories in me. What y'all think. Feeling discouraged:(

Hurt my stomach! I had my surgery on December 16th so I thought I would try some chicken and pinto beans. Big mistake it balled up in my stomach and wouldn't move for a very long time. I fell asleep and when I woke up the food was in my throat and I was about to choke. I got it under Control. My stomach is now very sore so I'm back on Liquid. Lesson learned I thought I could eat it. Soft food for now after liquids...

Hello everyone! I got sleeved on December 16th, When I woke up family was there. I have to admit I was scared. But to my surprise I had No pain at all,Took my first walk and threw up a little and was given a shot after that It's been smooth sailing I only felt like I had been doing sit ups' was and still is able to get all my Protein in and keep it down, the first week was Clear liquids, I mastered all of that. Now I'm on full liquids I ate tuna and keep it down, I ate mashed potatoes did great. I got in about 90 grams of protein. I'm doing Isopure Preach Mango, two scoops 63 grams of protein. I am driving because my Dr. said I could as long as I was not on med's..Did I say Still "NO PAIN"

Ok I had my surgery on Monday...Pain free, tolerating liquids very fine. My Dr. said I did very well. I only had 4 incisions. Let's see what the next week bring. Happy I went through with It

My surgery is on Monday.. Only thing I'm worried about is the pain as well I am 58 years old 237 pounds I don't look it but I do feel it... I'm scared of hospitals good to other people are here to help..

December 16th a little nervous..

I am December 16th as well 7:45am. I should have had it July 16 a couple of things came up, like a Gentics test for protein long story. Then a breast cancer scare which was neg. so all an all it's been a long process. But everything is ok and it will happen in December... A little nervous but this to shall pass..

I wouldn't!!!! I hate I did because they look at me like I'm crazy. Saying why? nothing wrong with you I tell them to you maybe not you just scared I might be smaller than you easy to say when you'll 6 or 7 mine is not until dec 16th. If I had it to do again NO I wouldn't tell until a week before then they can get on board or not.. Do your thang girl!!! If you notice I said smaller not pretty.. Lol

I was very disappointed when I went for my Final visit before the Surgery and was told I couldn't have the surgery until I had a Genetic test. It's something to do with protein and me being a silent Carrier of the gene. It could have put my life in danger. Had the test done and Thanks be to God I'm ok. So I Can Have My Sleeve Now!!!!!. Those that believe in Prayer please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

You should still be on a clear Diet until the nest week then you start the soft diet

Went to my last visit with my DR.today. Found out that I may not be able to get the Surgery because of a issues with genetics.Sad but glad I have a doctor that's going the extra mile.. He told me to start the Liquid Diet anyway until he can talk to Genetic specialist..something that has to do with protein..please pray for me.. But my life is more Important:(

July 15th

July 15th is my Date.. Scared but Excited at the same time.. Bought a pretty shirt Dress for Inspiration and Motivation hope to be in it by Aug 15th I plan on working very Hard to Achieve that . Those that Believe in the Power of Prayer.. Please Pray for me...
