  2. Hi, Charla, we made it! I'm sitting at the Marriott! Here we go, our surgery day has arrived. I am so thankful that I stayed on the preop diet. I'm going to drink Water as much as I can, and head to bed. Keep me posted, Jill PS The driving here is crazy!
  3. I'm here also, in 110 would love to see you! I meet Dr. Ortiz tomorrow . Surgery in the afternoon.

  6. Starting clear liquids tomorrow, Does anyone drink kombucha tea? It's suppose to be full of probiotics, but it tasted like its carbonated but not.
  7. Thank you for clearing this up for me, hope I get taken care of there. Asking for prayers
  8. On the Utube videos Dr Alejandero Lopez posted videos last oct for Ready4achange and currently for Alighterme. The hospital looks the same as well. My surgery is the 19th and after reading 2 poor experiences last week, I need more info. This makes me very nervous, I don't care for an upgrade due to overbooking nor do I care to be discharged without my drains taken out.
  9. Is Ready4achange and Alighterme the same company?
  10. I have a sweet husband going on 10 years and a daughter who will be 9. She watches what I eat like a hawk, looking forward to a healthy, active family!
  11. I'm 40 and getting sleeved on april 19th! Very excited to see what the 40's bring!
  12. Headed to the doctor today because I was panicking in the inside, just to make sure I didn't overlook any illness. I have been eating salad and two shakes and for 6 days only to lose a pound. Panic and doubt set in, what if this doesn't work. Had a wonderful visit with my doctor, I am so really to get healthy again! I promised my self I would be fit and fourty! Let's rock our sleeves! Jill
  13. The 19th for me!! I've been on the 2shakes and a salad for a little over a week now, going pretty well. Hard for me to believe this is really going to happen! Best of luck everyone and it will be great learn the new roads ahead. Jill
  14. Heading down on the 18th, congrats on your surgery, my husband was glad to hear there is an Applebee's! Looking forward to joining you on this journey! Jill
  15. I'm heading there on the 18th, I also think there is little info but I like the fact that its in a real hospital and 3 surgeons. I'm praying for the best. Kianna was also given a discount rate for her videos. I liked them they were informative.
  16. Best of luck! Hope all is well!
  17. Thank you so much! I am really excited for this change! I am trying the preop diet of protein shakes and greens. When is your surgery?
  18. Congrats! Keep posting love to hear how you are doing!
  19. I had heart failure when I delivered my daughter almost 9 years ago, I later found out that it was caused by rheumatic fever as a child. All my doctors feel this would be the best next step for me. I am struggling to get this weight off. I am scared that I might go into heart failure again with this surgery but I feel that this is where I will be successful! I have tried many things and am continuing to learning new things and am working on creating an active life. So on the 19th I go!
  20. I like working out also, I have met some awesome people and I look forward to finding more people to work out with as I get smaller. It truly becomes a fun clique.
