  1. I was banded in Adelaide April 2007 and although I know of a few others but I don't think there are any get togethers. I think there are support groups through Wakefield Hospital and Central Districts. I don't go on line more than 1-2 times afortnight but I am happy to answer if you have any queries, if I can.   2. Hi everyone Just registered and found this thread. Looking forward to talking with you. I had mine done privately on 23/05/07 and have lost 3.5kgs. Had first fill of 2.5mls, is this normal as I can still eat a full meal, but no bread.
  3. Hello everyone, Had my lapband done in South Australia on 23/04/07 and my first fill of 25 mls on 28/05/07. Higest weight was 107.5, BMI 34.5, OP weight was 105kg or 231pnds. and my goal weight is 60 -65 kgs or 132 -143 pnds. I have never participated in an online forum previosly so hope I don't mess up. Have been reading all the comments and have learned a lot. My Doctor is a good surgeon but doesnt tell me much and I dont know what to ask.
