  1. Just moved to Burlington from Mississauga. I am now 1 week post-op and have lost 21-1/2 lbs. so keep at it!
  2. Hi, Not sure where you live, but my doctor in Ontario didn't say I had to lose so much weight pre-op but had to shrink my liver (makes it easier to get to the stomach). This entailed two weeks of Opt-Fast and 225 calories per day of low glycemic vegetables (raw or steamed) per day such as lettuce, cucumber, celery, broccoli, cabbage, kale, spinach, cauliflower, mushrooms, radishes, green onions and zucchini just to name a few. No peas or carrots. Tomato juice is high in sodium so not sure that is a good choice. Chrystal light added to a Water bottle is great also. Had my surgery yesterday and it's worth it. Keep plugging away p it does get easier.
  3. I have just finished my first week (of two) on 3 packets of Opti-Fast a day plus 225 calories of low glycemic green vegetables. First few days were really hard. The Opti-Fast was awful but now it I just down it one gulp. Have lost 10 1/2 lbs. What it has shown me is that I now know that I have the will power to do this!!!
