Good luck and know that the first 3 days are difficult! After that every day feels a little bit better then the last!

My husband and I are another pair of problem free sleevers I was sleeved 6/20 an hubs was sleeved 7/18! After the initial soreness and adjustment to lifestyle all had gone well! We are both well into our fifties, walking daily, not much else yet! With pre-op diet and post-op we have both lost just over 41lbs each! I wish I had done it years ago! But everything happens for a reason! So glad we are sleevers!

Hi, Megan I am Barbara and I am waiting for my approval as well! I am from NJ and have horizon bc/bs. All my stuff was completed 5/17. The waiting is painful, I researched and made my decision and I wanted to go right away. Oh well, only a couple weeks, hopefully! I am glad we can go on this journey together. Barb

The best thing for gas is moving as much as you can, as soon as you can! I have had multiple abs. Surgeries, and I am a nurse. Best if luck!

Hi! I am new to this site and have learned so much reading all of the threads posted. I have been overweight my whole life. The only one in my family. I have tried every diet and exercise craze known to man. I am 55 and determined to take this tool and all that I learned with my team and the great suggestions from all of you. I don't have a date exactly but my doc said it will be may. I am so lucky my husband is being sleeved in June. New life for us both!
