  1. I was approved and scheduled for August 8th!
  2. After 6 months of supervised diets my insurance coordinator submitted my paperwork last Friday. The surgeon's office called today to tell me that I was approved and to set up a date. I will be sleeved on August 8th!! I am excited and scared and overwhelmed all at the same time. I have a two year old and this is going to be hard on her when I can't pick her up. My mind is spinning. I am a Type A personality and always like to have a plan!
  3. Submitted all my info to insurance this past Friday. After 6 months of supervised diet I am getting antsy!
  4. I think that sounds like a great idea. I haven't been sleeved yet, still in the supervised diet stage. Hoping to get a date soon. I would definitely attend something on a monthly basis.
  5. In Columbus here, waiting on a surgery date. I'm using Dr. Trace Curry as well.
  6. In Columbus awaiting a surgery date. How is everyone?
  7. If everything goes according to plan I should end up right around there.
  8. I'm sure that each doctor is different. I had a consultation with the nurse, a psych eval, measurements, weight and the first of my 6 monthly visits with the nutritionist. A few days after that I had a phone call with the insurance coordinator. I am now waiting out the 6 months. Halfway there!
  9. I am halfway through my six months. I do mine at my surgeons office. I go in once a month and weigh. My BMI is borderline. They are limiting the amount of weight that I can lose and still qualify. It's basiclaly just for documentation purposes.
