Can someone tell me what to expect as far as pain the day after and then the next few? I'm getting nervous about what I'm going to do with my dogs! I have 2 small (who will be ok, they can use pee pads) - but I'm fostering 2 golden retrievers who get kenneled and go outside alot when I'm home. I'm hoping I'm not so sore that I can't get up to feed them or let them out. Other than that, I'm not too anxious. Up until 3/23 I will eat like it's my last supper! Researching liquid and puree foods to go shopping. Thanks!

Hi there, I'm a newbie too! Just met with surgeon yesterday and will have surgery on March 28th. I'm excited, and wondering if I should be scared or more inquisitive! My biggest fear right now is the recovery. How long most people are off of work vs the 5 or so days they Dr office says is the norm. I also read that I can't drive for 2 weeks. ugh! liquid diet will be a challenge. But a great excuse to eat alot of popsicles! Has anyone ever had to stay overnight in hospital for this procedure? Knowing that I have to start pre-op diet on 23rd, every day until then will be treated like my last meal! Good luck to you
