I had my sleeve on march 11th. Since whole process started I have lost 20 lbs. but I know I'm not getting enough protein. I was researching today and found Isopure. Is this a good source of protein (low carb).

I had sleeve on March 11th and came home from hospital on March 12th. Today is the 14th. I'm frustrated about the pain around the left side incision site. It is very painful getting out of bed or out of chairs. I take pain meds but I havent had a BM yet. How long does the pain last.

I have Anthem BCBS as well. I had surgery yesterday. BCBS needed a recommendation letter and physicians records, a psyhological evaluation, a visit to a nutritionist. According to Nicholson Clinic for a gastric sleeve had to over 40. In addition I had to list out the different weight loss programs and my success rate. The clinic I am working with submitted all the paperwork. Hope this helps. Skinnydenise

I will be having sleeve surgery in about an hour. I'm excited to begin a new chapter in my life.
