  1. I had surgery on 11/13/13. I was in the hospital for 5 days due to some blood loss and now on lots of extra iron. Because of the blood loss, I have little energy. Doing pretty well on food but the smell & taste of protein drinks suddenly turns my stomach. Trying to force it down but very difficult. I am still very happy that I had the surgery and look forward to the next phase. I was on 177 units of insulin daily and now down to 20 units per day and my doctor expects that this will go away within the month. Hang in there! We are still at the beginning of our journey.
  2. Hi. I had my gastric bypass on 11/11. One small complication of seeping but it resolved itself. On full liquid/purée diet. Yesterday I used a glycerine suppository. Quick, easy no problems. I am very tired and hope my energy returns soon.
