  1. You need to involve your Doc in a appeal of their decision. I am a nurse and have a band and take care of banded patients. Nine out of ten have to fight tooyh and nail with their insurance.
  2. Greetings fellow banders or wannabe banders. I had my surgery on Feb. 15 2007. To date I have lost 34 lbs. It has been much easier than I anticipated. When I didn't feel restricted on the amount of food I could consume I had an adjustment. This made a world of difference. So far I have had no problems. Thank God. Good luck to all.
