BryJohn if you were asking me, I am just going to my first information meeting this week and since I'll be private pay I want to see what they have to say about that. I have seen on this board some people have said their surgery would have cost upwards of $81000.00 then some say $8,000. So that makes a heck of a difference to me!! I will not go to Mexico for the surgery if its cheaper from what I've been reading in some areas I travel there. So basically I'm just starting out but I want it yesterday!!

I'm going to be self pay I live in Valparaiso but I'm willing to travel to get a great Dr. and a great price but I will not go to Mexico like so many private pay people do that just scares mr

Has anyone been to an excellent local surgeon in the NW indiana? I'm looking into being sleeved and I will be private pay. Has anyone been down this road that can give some advice? Im not going to travel to Mexico for the surgery but I'm not opposed to traveling to another part of the states to save some money if there is a great surgeon there that is also cheaper but I am just now just starting so Id love some advice. Thanks in advance!!
