Anyone with Medicare getting stuck with having to pay?

I was wondering about this pre-op diet ... I just now in the starting process. Met with Dr. On 2/21/2013 and Medicare requires 3 months of dietician, support groups, etc. Which to me is great, my biggest fear is the pre-op liquid diet. I cannot imagine the strength it takes to prepare for the surgery. My surgery date won't be til around June or July, so need to learn all I can from my BMI of Texas staff and listening yo all you great folks. I am 62 year old grandma praying for a second chance at life. Just a few days to go and your journey begins. I know you will be so happy! God Bless!

I am 62 and just starting the insurance process, but when I was your age just wished I could have done this. So proud of your strength and all our thoughts and prayers are with you, sweetie!!!

I am just now getting started with BMI. Met with Dr. D FEB. 21,2013. Mar. 14, 2013 1st visit with dietician. Could anyone tell me how many visits to dietician they require? How many WLS support groups required? I am on Medicare and they require full 3 months. Got kinda confused about insurance coverage, but visit was hectic with seeing 2 others and dr. I know a lot will be clarified when I go see Jodi. Did y'all get A lot from your appts. With her? I am totally committed to do whatever I need to do .... Thanks to anyone who answers my questions?
