I am on my pre-surgery diet. Failed to stick it today so disappointed with my self. Haven't lost much since starting a week ago initially only lost 1 kg then gained almost 2 kg sticking to diet. Think my body doesn't know what is happening. Looking forward to next Friday. When surgery is done. Please I need a buddy for support. BMI 38 Height 1,62cm Weight current 96.9 kg Goal weight 60-62kg Your prayers and support is appreciated and this forum have been life saver. Hey I am scheduled to have sleeve done on the 22nd. I will be doing the op with my cousin and I am very thankful for all your support

Yes almost scary to think that in 3 weeks this time I will be done and dusted. Then my new life with a lot of hard work will begin. Thank you for everybody's support, you are great;)

Hi Aussie how long ago have you seen your surgeon for the 1st time? Good luck with your surgery:)

Tomorrow is my 1st appointment with my surgeon. I am soooo nervous, scared you name it that's the feelings I have. Found out from my PHI that they cover the procedure 100% have to pay the gap fee that would be between $3500 - $4200. I am worried that somehow he will not do the procedure. Is this normal??

Well done that is great!!! Good to hear all these positive comments. We have researched the gastric sleeve and have tried every thing else before this. How much more do you have to lose?

Hi no I am very very new. Haven't even seen the surgeon yet. Will see him next week. Hopefully I won't have to wait to long for surgery date. Good luck to those that is having your op done in the next few days. I hope it will all go well and I soooo envy you. If your op is scheduled to be in the public sector you might be affected by the nurses striking at the moment. The private hospitals are not striking so all good there. Please keep on telling me/ us how you are going.

Do you know what time frame I would have prepare myself for from first appointment with surgeon to actual operation date? I have private insurance and money saved up to have op done have been waiting a month to see the surgeon and have my appointment 28 feb. is it totally unrealistic to expect to be as soon as end of March ? My doctor work at 3 or 4 different hospitals in Perth. Thank you
