  1. I keep seeing posts on how everyone is doing pre op diets only a week or two before surgery. My surgeon has had me on a diet since january. High protein no carbs. Is that normal? I go in for my pre op testing at the hospital today...a little nervous not sure what they have to do. Surgery is March 14. Its getting soooo close
  2. Im hoping soo. Thanks so much for responding. I just wanna be healthy and have a healthy baby
  3. One of the reasons I am having this surgery is because I wanna be a mom. I want my pregnancy to be a healthy one. Me being 5'0 and 236 pounds puts me at high risk if I were to get pregnant. Hearing all u ladies who didny wait the amount of time you were suppose to after the surgery gives me hope. I am jealous of all u ladies who had the surgery and are now gonna be moms. I cant wait to be at that point. My surgery is scheduled for march 14. Hopefully hy this time next year I will be pregnant. Congrats to all u ladies. And wish me luck
  4. I cant wait to not hear " but u have such a pretty face" ..... I hate when people say that!!
  5. I know how ur feeling. I have an anxiety disorder and my thoughts have been running wild about my surgery as well. I think that when they put me to sleep that im not gonna be fully asleep and that I will be able to feel everything. I have never had surgery before so im freaking out.
  6. Paleal...just make sure u take ur iron. When I had my blood draw I was told I was vitamin d and c deficiant and iron deficiant. I also know when surgery is completed its only going to get worse so ive been making sure to drink my protein shakes with lots of vitamins as pills make me sick to my stomach.
  7. Im scheduled for march 14th. Im wicked excited but nervous at the same time. Im 5'0 and starting weight was 254 and now im down to 240. I started my pre op diet five weeks ago and have been doing great. Just trying to stay on track up until surgery. Im on the medifast lean and green diet and it seems to be working great. Just wondering if anyone else is feeling nervous about the surgery?
