  1. I was sleeved on 2/7 and my toughest battle has been the head hunger. I've found that talking it out with a good friend has helped. I find myself getting frustrated not being able to eat this or that. Nighttime is the worst but it helps to know that it gets easier with time. Hang in there!
  2. Try Edamame! It's supposed to give popcorn cravings the boot! Edamame Popcorn SEPTEMBER 1, 2012 · 0 COMMENTS Some people are crazy popcorn lovers. If you’re like Borz, going to the movies is basically just a means of getting popcorn. Other people prefer not to have kernels stuck between their teeth for the next 20 days. If you love popcorn and want something healthier or hate popcorn and need your own movie snack, let me introduce you to edamame popcorn. Edamame Popcorn Serves 2 12 ounce package frozen edamame, de-shelled 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated Salt & pepper Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place frozen edamame into colander and rinse under cold Water to thaw. Spread strained edamame into a 9×13 baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with parmesan, salt and pepper. Bake in oven about 15 minutes, until cheese is golden brown.
  3. I was sleeved on 2/7 and am doing pretty good. The worst thing so far is my head hunger and being frustrated that I can't have certain things. Anyone else going through this? I feel completely horrible for feeling this way.
  4. I'm so glad I found this thread! I was going nuts wondering why I couldn't handle tomato soup. I can only take about 2 bites before my pouch feels like it is going to explode. Checked with my doc and the acidity is the culprit but it should ease up as time goes by. Here's hoping that's true!
  5. My boss was sleeved back in Nov 11 and that's the first thing she warned me about when I had the surgery. Sure enough I cannot keep my feet warm!
  6. My surgery was 2/7/13 and I'm taking 4-6 weeks off so I can get into the swing of my new eating habits before heading back into the office. I'm on short term disability until I get back.
