  1. Met with my surgeon on 8/18/2010 and have a surgery date set for September 13th. Have started the liquid diet and will be on it until the date of my surgery.
  2. Hello Everyone! Just starting my Lap Band Journey and was thrilled to find lapbandtalk.com! I am a 35 years old and have been overweight and on the yo-yo weight loss/gain ride all of my life. I'm still in the preliminary stages of the Lap Band process(I will be attending the seminar on June 21) and just wanted to get as much information as possible before I make the final plunge. Kind of hesitant and excited and a bit disappointed in myself for not being able to control my weight without taking such a drastic measure. Glad to be a part of the group!
