I feel you Nett (sleeve sister)! I take insulin which increases my hunger. This head hunger business is the worse!

Not a Debbie downer, just expressing yourself. Head hunger is actually my biggest fear. Happy to support you in any way I can. What are they allowing you to eat at this stage?

My surgeon didn't put me on a pre-op diet but I' m compelled to do at least 2-3 days of it. Can anyone share their diet with me? I need to start this on Sun and God knows I'm already mourning food!'

I get sleeved on the 14th. My biggest fear is the mental desire to eat things just bc I recall how good they taste. Have your desire or cravings for food vanished? I have the Hosp preop today including the class, praying it all goes well. Congrats on doing so well

Something about the 8/14 girls, don't feel odd I don't have to do the pre-op diet either...although I think I may do a liquid diet my last 2 days, not sure yet. I'm already mourning the things I love to eat.

I have a one day hospital stay.

Natynat22 you did the sleeve and have a drain tube? Can I ask where? Sorry for the ignorant question but one of the reasons I chose the sleeve was bc there would be no drainage. Just curious. Happy all is going well for you thus far. Keep us posted on your recovery

Thankfully my doc didn't require a pre-op diet. Monday I have my pre-op Hosp appt and Wed. my PCP medical clearance and then sleeved on the 14th. My doc did require a slew of preliminary testing by various specialist so it's taken me months to get to this point. Super excited! My only concerns are my mental desires to eat and drink the things I love.
