I didn't come home with a drain tube & my 6 cuts are small with desolving stitches & tape over them. I guess every doctor dose it different.

Well I came home yesterday afternoon & I feel great. Today is day 3 post surgery & I have had no pain just discomfort from the gas but been taking gas x & doing a lot of walking. I have been sipping on water & powerade zero & also s/f popsicles. Doing good & having no complaints. I hope it stays that way.

Thanks everyone for your words. I just saw my doctor & hopefully I can go home today I just need to bring my potassium up.

I am so glad my surgery is over. I waited 5 mths to start my new life. Laying here in the hospital 18 hrs. after surgery & feeling good no pain just alittle discomfort. Not really taking any pain medicine. I can honestly say the only thing that is a pain is someone waking me up to do my vitals. I have been walking the hallways of the hospital hopefully I can go home later today. At this point of my new life journey is going good I will keep you posted.

No not till monday no longer confused now excited. If that makes any since.

Well after a long wait Monday is my surgery day. I am so confused part of me wants the surgery but part of me doesn't. Its not about missing the food. I think its about my weight getting the best of me & now it has come to this. Losing weight is not a problem for me its keeping it off that I struggle with. Since following threw seems to be it. I am afraid this will be another thing that I will fail.
