  1. I started on soft/pureed foods yesterday and I am having stomach pains also. I don't know if my pain tolerance is higher than yours, or you have more pain than I have. My stomach starts cramping and I feel like I need to throw up! I asked a question similar to yours and I was told patience! We have new stomachs and will experience such things! Good luck
  2. Hi everyone...I am new here, my name is Melanie and I had surgery Jan 24, 2013. I went for my 2 week checkup yesterday and got moved up to pureed foods. I would like to know if anyone has experienced pains after eating for the first time? I had grilled fish yesterday where I ate about 1/4 of a piece of fish. After about 6 or 7 bites my stomach started cramping and continued cramping on and off for about 30 minutes after I stopped eating. Again tonight, I smashed up some beans and ate about 2 tbsp and my stomach started cramping again. Am I doing something wrong?
