How much money should we bring with us? Should it be USD or Peso? Also read somewhere about tipping.....who do we tip and how much? HELP!Lol.....yes I think they do think that. I am going in for a sleeve on april 1st. I am travelling to TJ by myself. I was at the er yesterday because I came down with a sinus infection and needed antibiotics to get rid of it by. The nurse asked what I was going in for , so I told her. Then she asked where and the whole look on her face changed and I got the whole speech about the perception of mx. Really.......did I just make this decision overnight.....really???? But I dont care....its not their decision to make its mine!!!!! (end of my rant)...lol You will be fine. I am going with dr. Garcia at Mi hosp...getting excited, just two weeks awayyup, going with dr. garcia also but I am scheduled for april 1st. VERY exciting!!!!Its funny how every doctor is different in their pre op.....I was told just 3 days before to start my pre op. I understand what you are saying when you talk about eating the things you will miss the most. Went to MacDonalds with the kids the other night and was thinking that I will never again be able to finish a big mac. Its getting close!!!!! starting to get very excited the count down is on to leave march 31st. and surgery on april 1st. Cindysc gonna have to set something up so that we hook up at the hotel on the 31st.Just wondering, when we check into the hotel the day before surgery, do we check out the day of surgery or does our room just sit empty until we return? Also to the people travelling alone, where did you keep your passport and electronics while at the hospital?Whoo hoo!!! Just a few more weeks.....April 1st...here I come!!!!!What about the plug in for electrical. Do we need to bring converters?Yup, great question cindy!
