  1. I am a newbie, only being sleeved on 1/28. I'm already amazed how I am not feeling hungry. I have to watch the clock to know when to eat( well drink). I did have some head hunger while doing things where I used to pig out like sitting in front of the TV. My question is does this no hunger feeling last? Or will I start to feel hungry but only be able to eat smaller portions? Thanks!
  2. I was sleeved on 1/28. One week has gone by already. Can't believe it. I'm down 9lbs since the day of surgery. I'm feeling pretty good. My steri-strips and incisions are itching like crazy!
  3. I'm an elementary teacher and not sure how long i should take off. I'm 1 week out right now. Can't imagine having the timing right for meals and the stamina at 12 days. I'm thinking 1/2 days back to start. Going to make that decision closer to the time I decide to go back. You are brave. Good luck!
  4. Does anyone use My Fitness Pal to track meals/liquids? We could become friends on there and see what each other is drinking/eating. This may help us. Anyone interested? My username is ajdub22.
  5. I was sleeved on Monday, too. I'm already growing tired of the full liquids every 2 hours. I'm not meeting my protein goal yet either. But my dietician said it won't happen for a little while. I did better with my water intake today. I've been out and about, which feels SO good! I think I am going to go to the store and get some different soups to make and strain. I'm looking for more variety. Perhaps the organic section will help! All in all I am feeling really well! I'm so happy about that! Anyone hit the gym yet? I'm thinking Monday.
  6. Hysterical! Mind if I use that story? It's much more interesting.
  7. I had my surgery on Monday and can home on Wednesday. I don't have too much gas. But there is a lot of gurgling going on in there! I've been eating about every 2-3 hours of 4 oz of various liquids to keep my interest. I use a very small espresso spoon to eat. It's so strange to remind myself to eat every few hours! So far, I'm loving my sleeve!
