Surgeon said I only needed to do the optifast diet for 1 week, decided to do 2 weeks - and then the dietician today suggests I do it for 3!!! Hmmm

Had my anaethetist appointment this morning and bariatric doc and dietician appointments this afternoon in Joondalup. Couldn't help wondering if the people I saw there were soon to have weight loss surgery as well!!

Hi all, I am booked for my gastric sleeve at Joondalup Hospital on 5 March. The wait has been several weeks already and I am soooooo impatient for it to happen! I am 58 with 5 adult children, 1 adorable little grandson and an even more adorable partner (lucky me!) Can't wait for my journey to begin, so many reasons why I want this, too many to mention. Although it will be great to find clothes in the same shops that my sisters and sisters-in-law shop - 4 sisters and 4 sisters-in-law!!! And me, always the odd one out but .... not for much longer Yippee I have ready ever blog of the 134 pages so have a pretty good idea and already have the shakes ready to go, the Knife Fork Band cookbook and much more.
