  1. Glad to hear your doing well. I'm not having gas pain but i am having a lot of pain in one of my incisions. I had a hernia repair too so i am wondering if that's where the pain is coming from. I'm uncomfortable and I'm actually craving food which is worrisome. How are you doing with that.
  2. Had my surgery at noon today and so far i am not doing to bad. For up to walk a few times. I think I'm being released tomorrow have some gas pain but the morphine is helping. Really excited now to get this going. I was in a three day liquid diet before which i handled surprisingly well, is amazing what i can do when I have to . Before surgery i was really hungry now I'm not which is a good thing. How is everyone else doing.
  3. Well the day is here people. I hope all good well for everyone
  4. I am on day one of a 3 day pre-op diet. Surgery Thrusday.
  5. I'm also scheduled for April 25th. One week tomorrow
  6. So glad I found this forum. I am schedule for April 25th with Dr. Gorecki. I can't wait. How is everyone doing so far. Was the recovery easy and smooth? How is the weight loss going?
  7. I am scheduled for surgery on April 25th with Dr. Gorecki in NY. I am now over my nervousness and just excited to start my new life. I have BC/BS insurance and even though my ins covers this surgery I am nervous that my regular doc (that I have to see once a month for 6 months to qualify) has not been taking the right notes every visit. He doesn't ask about what I'm eating or what excercise program I am doing so I just hope the ins approves me even though he doesn't have this info. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyway my details are current weight 275lbs Hopefully will get down to around 160lbs I don't remember being under 190lbs so the idea that I could be 160lbs is just mind blowing and doesn't seem real. I feel like I have been fighting this fight for so long it's hard to believe it could be over soon. Good luck to everyone
