Brad Groeneveld

Hello My name is Brad I am 41 years old and currently weigh 383 pounds I have been as heavy as 415 lbs. I have been heavy pretty much all my life but it is now catching up with me. I have severe back and knee problems and really need a change. I lost my job about 3 years ago and in this current economy I have had trouble finding work so i decided to go back to school. Since starting school I have gotten help with the Oklahoma Dept. Of Rehabilitation and with the help of my Rehab counselor they have agreed to pay for Bariatric Surgery which as She agreed is paramount to my successful rehabilitation. I am very excited to be able to do this for once I look forward to loosing the weight and finally being the good looking guy that I know is underneath all this weight. Not only am I doing this for me I am doing it for my family as well. After losing my brother just before Christmas I knew that I had to do this for him and myself. It has been a very hard few years from loosing job, Father, Brother, and my home this is a very good and huge step forward out of this hole and getting to a better life. My faith in God is my true joy and I know that he is the one making all this happen. I thank God everyday for all the good things he is doing in my life it helps keep me going.
