Tomorrow will make 2 wks since my paperwork was submitted and still no response. Is this normal?

I think my ins co is trying to kill me off instead of save me. They have me jumping thru so many hoops that's its becoming stressful! Completed all reqs and 6mo nut visits. Paperwork gets denied bcause dr is no longer in network. (how is that when the office verified my ins b4 I started) Now they act like its so hard to find a dr in network that will cover. They keep giving me the run around. But I promise you guys 1 thing....I will not give up! I will find a surgeon on my own! And I will keep my Feb 20 surgery date!

Well atleast my vacation was approved. Still waiting on insurance. Feb 20th is almost a month away!! )

I didn't tell anyone at work either. It's none of their business. And if/when I do get the sleeve, I might just tell them hard and dedication. I once assumed someone at work got the band. But I never inquired. I just congratulated her whenever I saw her. So keep ur personal health business to yourself and let them marvel at the new, healthier you.

I'm waiting on ins approval but I asked the dr for a date in Feb. I'm from Northern NJ. As many of u guys mentioned, VST has become an obsession for me. This is a very serious journey we all chose the take and I find comfort in knowing we all share the same emotions. Once/hopefully I get approved I'm dumping Facebook! U guys will b stuck with me! Lol! I wish u all the best of luck!

I'm glad i have this group to talk to when needed. I'm waiting for approval as well and I'm nervous. It's rough getting worked up to making such an important decision and have to wait on the ins co. I wish u luck. I believe things will work out for ypu
