  1. I guess I'll ask my dr why I had to have it and let you know.
  2. My surgeon puts a drain tube in your stomach. From what I've read you'll have one too but mostly have it out before you leave the hospital.
  3. I'm 32 had my sleeve done on jan 7th. Wasn't bad easier then having a baby. I started at 254 and only 9 days later I'm at 237! And I haven't even been able to work out yet. I get to start eating a few foods today, time is just flying by. I couldn't be happier and I'm sure you will feel the same. Good luck !
  4. Got the drain pulled today and it was more gross then painful.
  5. How much do you work out ? You look amazing by the way !
  6. Well mine will be in there for 9 days when they remove it. I'm wondering if they say it hurts so much because it has so much time to heal around it? My dr seems to be the only one that leaves the drain in so long.
  7. Hi everyone! My name is Steph. I had my sleeve on jan 7th, 2013. Denver,co @ Rose by Dr. Snyder. Start weight 254, today I'm 237. 7 days post op. I didn't diet before surgery. I actually went nuts before surgery and had the time of my life eating. I'm kinda paying for that one right now because the sight of food makes me sad. Even tv Commercials are hard for me to watch It's been a ok journey so far, I was sent home with oxygen and got thrush ( SUCKS ) but all that is nothing compared to the fear I am having about this drain being pulled from my tummy. I've heard nothing but bad stories and how painful it is. I'm super good with pain, I have 12 tattoos and this was my 6th surgery. So I'm confused as to way I'm letting this get to me so bad but I'm really scared! My Dr appt. is wed at 1pm. I really don't wanna go! I can't help but laugh at myself because I truly am afraid of getting my drain removed but wasn't even a little scared for surgery. I'm loving this site! I read and read and read ! It's great.
  8. Cool when I'm able to eat ill have to try them! You can ask the Walmart to order them for you if you want! Can save you some time so you won't have to wait.
  9. Are you guys talking about meals like lean Cuisine? But made by Akins ?
  10. Oh man same with me ! Gas gas gas ! Walking makes me better to. Except its only 7 degrees here in colo so I can't really go outside boo!
  11. I had my surgery the 7th also! Sleeve was my choice (best choice I think). How did it go for you ?
