I'm wondering if anyone out there has had a VBG in the past and has now had a VSG? I had a VBG (aka, gastroplasty or stomach stapling) back in 2001. I did great for several years. I lost about 75 lbs but have regained it all plus more. I would really like to have the VSG but don't know if it's possible.

Please do. I've registered for surgery in Ontario but it can take over a year to get it done. Don't think I'm willing to wait that long. Please let me know how it all goes and who did your surgery. Thanks so much.

I had a gastroplasty back in 2001. I have since regained all the weight, plus more, that I lost. It was a dismal failure but that was the only option back then. Is there anyone here that has had a previous surgery and then a sleeve? I guess I'm wondering if its even possible to have this surgery with the previous one in there.

Wondering if anyone from Canada has gone to Mexico for a sleeve? How was your experience?
