I wouldn't! Your tummy has had some major changes done to it. If you get on a bike your legs are going to be moving into the bottom part of it and it's going to hurt after a while. That just some advise take it as you like. GOOD LUCK I promise the pain all goes way.

I have had my band a week now. :clap2: Things seems to be fine other than sleep. How long was it before some of you could sleep normal in a bed? When I try I can't get back up or there is a bad pulling pain in my port area or if I lay on my left side it feels like someone has their fingers under my left ribs.:tired

Any advise on somethng I can eat that is not sweet in taste. I was banded on the 6 of jun and I would love to taste something else. Black bean soup would be to die for but I am scared. Even if I made a lquid out of it. I have been on all protein shakes for 3 weeks and I just want something that isn't sweet. :help:

I was banned yesturday too..... I understand you pain! I have been down on all fours trying to get the pain out, I did gasx, I have been walking and I still felt like I had been hit by a truck. Call the doctor. The nurse sent my husband to get children's Mortin. When by my weight. I look about 7 teaspoons of it. Get yourself a shot glass. Now 3 hours later I am not snapping off anyones head. I can deal with this... Try it and good luck. :nervous

I am finally getting banded on June 6....Yah! My doctor has me on a protien diet 2 weeks before my band date. I am told this is because it will decrease the size of my liver. I am also guessing it will help me to loose a little too. But here is the question: How is this protien diet going to decrease the size of my liver? :noidea:
