  1. Hi Julie--I'm doing really good I think! Does anybody know if you can take something for gas or should I just contact the doc? Are any of you on protein drinks?
  2. Hi Julie, my name is Midge and I got my band May 10, 2007. I'm having the same "pressure" feeling--they said my stomach is very high--I thought maybe it was because of that, but I think I'm having trouble with trapped gas! My doctor told me not to weigh because right after surgery just about everybody gains because of IV fluid and the bodies reaction to the surgery! A friend of mine gained 12 lbs the first week!
  3. I was banded a week ago Thurs (5-10-07). Banding was done by Dr. Arthur Carlin, Henry Ford Medical, Detroit. Quite the process--but so far so good! Can't wait for that pureed food! Not hungry at all--just tired of the liquids as we had to do liquids 1 week prior to the surgery!
