  1. Sorry it took so long for Me to reply. I am doing great now and I have lost 21 lbs since Jan. 11! It's been tough getting use to chewing properly...I am transtioning from soft foods to solids and that has been hard...any suggestions?
  2. I also had surgery on Jan. 11th and was a wreck going in. I am so proud of myself and my sleeve sisters for being strong and brave. Yay! We did it!
  3. Thank you! I'm at my 3rd day since the surgery and feel so much better. I'm getting excited now to get on with my new healthy life style.
  4. Thx I have only been drinking water and juice and having a little popsicle that I can never finished...I just thought I would be past the pain now.
  5. I had surgery on Jan.11,2013 and came home yesterday...I am having a hard time with pressure pain in my chest area exspecially after i drink something...I feel horrible and wish my ins. Would have approved me to stay longer in the hospital...any adivice?
  6. Well I did it...I was a nervous wreck but I am done the sugery and can't wait to see the results in the next few months ....thx agian to all those that helped me!

  8. I am having surgery tomorrow and I am creaking out and very emotional ...I am worried about everything from the pain to dying....any words of comfort from someone who has already had the surgery?

  10. I am having the VGS this Fri. I am extremely scared but have been inspired by many of the posts on this site from people who have already had the surgery. I am excited as well to start a new journey and to finally feel like I am living and not have my wait hold me back ANYMORE! I will keep everyone updated:)
  11. Thank you, it helps to know how I am feeling is normal. I have another question I am on my third day liquid diet and I have gained vs. Losing...did this happen to any of you?
  12. This is my first time posting on the site. I am schudled to get surgery on Fri., January 11,2013 and I am excited but also very nervous. I am mostly nervous of the pain and failing to loose wieght cause that's what I do ....fail at loosing weight....Ahhhhh just have a lot of mixed emotions....is this normal?
