I saw your response on my email but couldn't get my sign in to work! So I've been taking it pretty easy. : ) actually went to Arkansas Friday afternoon and then to Branson Saturday afternoon. Haven't taken any pain pills since Thursday. Haven't really been in any pain for them. Just occasionally that one spot they pulled my stomach out of hurts but not enough to take something for it. I kept my pillow between my stomach and the seatbelt for bumps. And my hubby has been helping me out a lot so I don't have to bend over or anything. I'm trying to drink often, but I'm glad you said that because I'm sure it's not enough. I'm just so scared of overdoing it and then being miserable because I drank too much! I haven't been extremely tired like I figured I would be. How long till those loud gas sounds stop?? they are pretty annoying! lol Still can't believe I traveled like that 2 days after surgery, but we had had those plans for months and my surgery just kept getting pushed back. : /

It was hard getting my liquids in the past 2 days...i was so scared I was going to overdue it and get sick. I've been sipping here and there, but probably still not enough. I really need to just make myself do it and I guess I'll have to figure out when its too much. Glad you are doing well!

We'll I had my surgery Wednesday! Felt pretty miserable Wednesday and Thursday. That hospital bed killed my back!! So I'm feeling much better today after sleeping in my own bed. The top of my stomach hurt pretty bad, but Dr. Varnell said that was probably from my hiatal hernia he fixed, he said it was pretty bad. I was popping 3-5 tums a day on that liquid diet and haven't had any acid reflux since! So fingers crossed it was all caused from that hernia. How's everybody else doing??

My date is march 27th. Just my luck...dr.Varnell is taking off the week of the 20th. So I got pushed later. : / What is that old saying...if it weren't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all? lol How's your recovery going oklafarmgal?

I ended up with Dr.Varnell and he did my egd last Tuesday. Dr.kirks office said that they wanted Dr. Lewis' office to take over the pft and chest X-ray orders and when I called both his offices they say no, he just does the sleep study orders. So I'm kinda waiting for that confusion to get worked out before i call them again for my app. I really wanted to have surgery the 13th or 20th, ,but I guess Dr.Lewis went out of the country for 2wks so he's not getting thru the results as fast. : / Just my luck. I have my surgeon pre-op app tomorrow so I hope dr. Lewis can lmk so I can go ahead with my date!

Anybody else fail the sleep study?? : ( All I have left to do is the chest X-ray and pft. There has been some confusion over who is supposed to order those done between Dr. Kirk & Dr. Lewis' offices though. Really hoping my apnea isn't too bad so I can still have surgery in the next few weeks!
