It is nice to talk with you joeygirl. Your surgery is just around the corner. Where is your surgery taking place? I had another great day on the shakes and ww dinner. I have had only a sugar free popsicle for a snack. I don't feel a great hunger or anything. I think this will be ok. I can't say it isn't hard seeing food in magazines, people's plates and thinking about food sometimes. I just keep saying, We are eating to live, not living to eat...

Hi! I am getting banded June 28th with Dr. Ortiz in TJ, MX. I have started the pre-op diet today. Have had 2 protein drinks and a WW meal tonight. I have done well today. I would like to loose 15 pounds before my surgery on 6/28/07. No headaches today at all. The night isn't over yet but I think it will be OK. Just wanted to let everyone know I am having surgery in June. Also, I have a friend going with me and she is having surgery the same day.

Has anyone considered surgey with Dr. Rumbaut in Mexico? I have been talking with the nurse there and they seem very nice and informative. Has anyone had surgery there. I am trying to schedule surgery in June but I cannot decide whether to have it in Mexico or Kansas where I live. I have heard alot of good things about Dr. Rumbaut...Please help me....Can't decide....

Does anyone know if Century Health Solutions covers the lapband?

I am currently talking with Carolyn with Dr. Ortiz's office. She seems very nice and informative. I have also talked with Dr. Rumbaut's office and they are great....Does anyone want to comment on either of these surgeons?

I am just researching the lapband surgery. I have contacted Dr. Ortiz and his office help has been very helpful. They seem very nice.
