I'm finally scheduled...again! Its going to be June 17, 2013, I'm starting my pre-op diet on monday . Is anyone getting theirs around that date? Looking for some help and support.

I postponing my surgery until June.

My doctor told me that he expects me to be back at school in a week. I hope its not much longer than that.

I'm nervous about the anesthesia, I've had general anesthesia before but never for over an hour. And I'm worried about the pain after, and if I can ever eat normally. I'm such control freak it's weird that I'm letting a surgeon remove 80% of my stomach. What are you worried about?

That's so exciting My doctor let me pick my surgery date, but he only works on Monday. I was so lucky because my parents didn't want me to miss to much school, and I only have to miss 2 days because of spring break.
