  1. Don't know the answer to question 1, but to answer question 2. This procedure will be part of your medical history for life. When old, gray, and super s sexy the people at the old folks home will know.
  2. I started in November, my surgeons office told me the has to accept when I started. They also say I only need 3 months nutrition appointment. What insurance do u have?
  3. Congrats on the approval. How long have u been going through the process?
  4. My doc doesn't submit until all the requirements are met. So I won't know until mid February.
  5. I have Anthem, my company changed in January. Im real nervous they are going to deny me.
  6. What insurance is everyone using? For those going to Mexico, what's the cost? And the procedure?
  7. Im from NJ, my date is 2/28. I started my journey last year with my daughter. She was approved for the band and I was rejected for bypass. I gave up, but decided recently to start again. I have my last nutritionist appt on 1/28. We have a new insurance (Anthem ) , I checked their criteria and I have met the requirements. I would love to get my approval and have them move up my date.
  8. I recieved my surgery date. We are still waiting to see if my insurance will cover. My company recently changed carriers, i will have Anthem the first of the year. My daughter had the lap band surgery last year under our previous carrier (I tried but was denied). Im excited for the changes to come but nervous the insurance will deny again.
