  4. So I started my journey in January. I was sleeved on May 14th. I lost 50 pounds before surgery and 29 since surgery. More to go but I feel so much better. This pic was taken in 2009 and I don't know what I made but it was probably my heaviest ever.

  6. I was sleeved May 14th and I've done really well but like others struggling with protein. But also every time I take a bariatric advantage chewable vitamin I get sick! I even take phenergren with it and I still throw it up. Does anyone else have this problem?? I go back for my 1st postop appt tomorrow. I will ask but didn't know if anyone else was given a substitute to try instead of the vitamins?
  7. I started in January at 299 pounds I completed my 3 month Preop in April and when I was sleeved May 14th I weighed 250 pounds. I was size 24 in the beginning and I'm fitting in size 18/20 so I don't think it's unreasonable to have that as a goal. Best wishes and good luck!

  21. Oh man! I wish you the best of luck this time so far so good I still have a low carb diet with 2 protein shakes a day. The colder the better for me. But I try to get them down as fast as I can. I'm do tired of yogurt, jello and oatmeal that I'm skipping those most everyday. 3 weeks if the same foods will start to wear you but not much longer!
  22. So insurance has approved. I done pre op yesterday and I meet the surgeon tomorrow for history and physical. I'm getting so nervous!! I keep telling me that I've been working so hard to get to this point. I started at 299 and 5'6 and now I'm 252 and have lost 47 pounds. How is everyone dealing with the nerves beforehand? Is there anyone else on the 14th?
