  1. I was banded on the 22nd. Surgery took twice as long as they thought because I have a hiatal hernia and have of my stomach was in my chest cavity so they had to repair that first. I am doing good, waiting for my children to get off work and come and visit, slept most of the morning and been up and about all afternoon. Did any of you feel great and get worse or can I assume the worst is over?
  2. I am also going in tomorrow (Tuesday). I did the two weeks liquid but my doctor doesn't have me doing a colon cleanse, sounds like I'm lucky. Good luck tomorrow. I hope you're not to scared. I've had about four surgeries so am not nervous yet but will be in the morning.
  3. Hello May Bandsters, I am having my surgery on Tuesday, May 22. I am very nervous and don't really have anyone to talk to about it since I am keeping it a secret from everyone except my husband and children. Is there anything special that you wish you would've had and didn't when you got home from surgery. I live by a lake about 20 miles from the nearest town so would like to be prepared. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
  4. I am being banded on Tues, May 22.
  5. I am scheduled for surgery at Fargo MeritCare on Tues, May 22. Hope it goes good.
