  4. This story sounds pretty typical for a lot of us. I too told no one I work with. My boss asked me flat out today if I had surgery. With a straight face I said I've made lifestyle changes. I eat minimal carbs, no sugar & high protein. All which is true. I believe you share &do what you are comfortable with. Obesity is a personal struggle and no one should be judged or ridiculed for their decisions, but the hard truth is they do anyway. Good luck & stay strong & positive!
  5. I was sleeved 11/28/12 and as of today I'm down 27 lbs. I too am at a lull right now. I have not been exercising much & have a hard time getting more than 20 oz fluids and 60g protein daily. It's good to hear all the leaps, bounds and struggles here. I'm hoping once I get into a workout routine the lbs Will continue to drop. Everyone is very helpful! Good luck to all!!

  7. I will be 4 weeks on Dec 26th and I too am tried of soups & chili's! Everyone has great tips, but I'm scared to eat solid foods now. I find it difficult to stay hydrated, and focus on protein shakes. Feeling kind of frustrated, but I have faith things will get easier!

  9. Bebe, get copies of all your tests, labs, clinical notes, everything!!! I don't see why any other bariatric physician will not accept that info. Good luck!!!
