Just got my sleeve 6/6/13 at GBMC would love to find some sleevers near me!

Hi from MD my surgeon was Peter Liao at GBMC...I have Johns Hopkins priority partners through medical assistance...I was originally scheduled for surgery dec. 27 2012 and was denied 3 times I had to fight them the whole way, they kept denying for not showing enough weight loss during monthly weigh ins so I was advised to keep a food journal and come in for 3 months of successfully weigh ins...which I did and GBMC submitted my weight loss along with,y 3 months of eat journals to them and I FINALLY got approved! My surgery was 6/6/13 I hope you don't have to go through what I did

I will be two weeks out on Thursday also I made my fav. Chili recipe with ground turkey and with it puréed my sleeve did not like it my taste buds have changed too which is weird

I have Dr. Liao at GBMC, and have been scheduled for Dec.27! I just hate waiting to see if the insurance is going to approve me after everything I've had to do to get to this point! Just wanna wish everyone good luck--I'm a newbie on here
