  2. great idea about multivitamins from the internet, Ill look into it today. also think Ill get a protein supplement to add to milk
  3. Ok chaps thanks for advice I guess it's a no then. Just though I'd ask the Q, interesting to hear some say 6-12 months before drinking I hadn't been told that.
  4. I'm in England and the prescribed pre op diet is 2pints milk, 4low fat yoghurt's and 1stock cube a day. For 14 days. Then post op it's anything you can suck through a straw, so watered Down yoghurt's, fruit juice, smooth watery soups, milk and smoothies etc for 4 weeks, I have just bought some cans of tomato soup, some Alpro soya milk choc flavour, and some tubs of custard and also som low fat ice cream. Do you have any other ideas or advice?
  5. Do you think it will be possible to have a little alcohol over the holiday period. I have my op on the 19 Dec.

  7. Hi princesstia when are you having surgery? I'm Dec 19 and can't wait, I agree it will be amazing to feel full and have no appetite, and to be able to buy anything that isn't a handbag. Good luck with your journey
  8. One week to go, I'm hoping that after nearly 40 years of dieting (unsuccessfully obviously) that I may have the solution. I feel that I have been in a battle with food for ever, and never feel full or content. I'm hoping that this will provide the answer. I don't want to be skinny just to be able to go into regular shops and buy clothes, and to be able to book to go on a plane or to the theatre without worrying if I'll manage to sit comfortably or do the belt up.
  9. I'm due surgery on the 19 dec, and I have Lupus so take loads of medications, have been told to crush some, but some can't be crushed so have to have them in liquid form, am going to GP tomorrow to get a script for them so pharmacy has time to get them before I go to hospital. Told I will need them for 2 months
  10. Hi my date is Dec 19 as well, both excited and anxious. Hope yours goes well. I too am new to sites like this and just getting to grips, but I will try and look out for you nuveka2 and TraciJ
