  1. I have had a gastric band for 3 years and have had nothing but problems with it. My weight loss was good....but it has slipped and now I am scheduled for sleeve surgery on the 18th. I just hope I don't have erosion or anything that prevents me from having the sleeve. My husband didn't want me to have the surgery to begin with, and now he is so mad that I have to have another surgery. I really wish I had known all the longer term problems band patients have!
