  1. Does anyone know of a Food journal/diary application with time stamp? I would like to keep track of the times I eat. Thanks y'all!
  2. I just got sleeved on the 5th of dec. and on my most recent follow up appt I told my doc that I was afraid of busting my staples open sine I'm on solids now. He said that it was nearly impossible for the staples to come apart based in what you ate. He also said "don't get me wrong. To explain it better its like getting struck by lighting. You never know when, where or who it will happen too. I know at least one great surgeon who has had at least one leak but its extremely uncommon". Then he went on to remind me that this is a tool for weight loss and like any other tool if you don't use it well and learn how to properly eat then its not going to be effective at all and the "leaking issue" won't even matter because you will still fail if you don't relearn the one thing that drove you to be overweight........... Your inability to eat properly.
  3. My preop weight was 208. It's been a month and I'm 196. I'm bummed I haven't lost more. I just wanted to know how much weight do most people have lost in their first month.
  4. Sorry to hear you have so much pain. I got sleeved on the 4 and I had absolutely no pain. When I was at the hospital I only pressed my pain medication button 4 times and that's cause my doctor order me too. Lol. I'm just pain tolerant I guess who knows. Anyways, my coworker had the same procedure and like you had lots of pain. From what she says it slowly Subdues if you avoid moving too much and take your pain meds. Hope you feel better! And just remember the pain is all worth it. ????
  5. I just had my sleeve on Dec 4, 2012 and have been on my liquid diet. I have this sensation in my throat as if something was stuck there. It's not hurting it just discomfort. Has anyone felt that? Is it gas? Am I full? I mean I know it's not a foreign object because I can breath talk and eat. But it's jus this nagging feeling of discomfort. Just wondering what it may be.
