  1. Traci, That's awesome!!! What are you drinking for your Protein? Doctor told me to try liquids again tomorrow. That my body wasn't ready... How's ur pain? I was allergic to the nausea meds.. Go figure. My luck..
  2. Thank you... I'm feeling better. This part sucks! Im starting to drink a lil more without getting sick and I'm still urinating.
  3. I was sleeved in December 19th and would love to find others with Similiar surgery dates for advice. I haven't been able to drink anything other than Water yet. I've been to nauseated. But today I'm hungry. And I know I'm going to need advice of what I can drink the next 2 weeks. I weighed today and I've lost 10lbs but I'm sure it was water weight. But hey 10 lbs is 10lbs. I haven't started my meds back but I know I need to try to start soon..
  4. Becky, How are u feeling? I was also sleeved on dec 19th. I have had some bad nausea... But feeling better today. Hope u are too. Kristy

  10. So tomorrow is my big day! And I'm so nervous I can barely sit still. Im excited about my new life but then I'm scared it won't work or that I will regret having the surgery... I'm nervous about the pain???? I'm nervous about how long I will be laid up??? And not extremely important questions but just curious. 1st: how long did most of u have to wait to have sex? I mean comfortablely. 2ndly: My most favorite drink is Malibu and pineapple. Will I never get to drink it again? Or alcohol for that matter? Kind feel Iike I'm going in this blind....
  11. Glad someone asked bc I've was wanting to ask along with how long did everyone have to wait to have sex? Like was it just a few days after surgery that u felt well enough? Or is your body still to sore to enjoy? My surgery is this Wednesday and my boyfriend and I were talking last night and when he asked I didnt know??
  12. Wednesday the 19th at 9am Lord, please let everything go as planned...
  13. Your right! I knew that. Don't know why I put Thursday. Anyway.. Good luck to u as well! Its getting here FAST!
  14. I go Thursday for my pysch evaluation and to then to meet w the doctor. And then next Thursday is my surgery day! The closer it gets, the more nervous I get!!!!!
  15. Thank you so much for posting. I go next Thursday and I am so scared. Plus I'm a single mom to a 5 yr old. I can't b down long... Congrats on doing so well! And good luck!!!
  16. My surgery date is December 19th. I'm excited but very nervous. I know Im doing the right thing but the lack of family support makes the surgery so much more intense. I go to my doctor appointments and feel happiness and daydream about the new me. Then I leave and hear how unneccessary this is from mother and my boyfriend. They are totally against the surgery. More or less they are scared I'm going to go in for surgery and die. No pressure huh... So to avoid any debates I just don't bring it up. Eventhough I can easily state the tons of pro's. My dad is dying of stomach cancer. My mom has heart disease. She has had triple bypass, and has had multiple stents. My grandfather died of a heart attack at an early age and my grandmother died of colon cancer. The surgery would reduce my risk of both. Not to mention be healthier, feel better and look great! So glad I found this app. It has really kept me sane. Just wish my family would support me... Ready to get the surgery part over and start working on the "new me."
