  1. Thank you . It's when your mouth begins to run with excess saliva. It usually only happens to me before I vomit, but I've read here that some people will slime wo vomiting. Not my experience tonight.
  2. Let me start by acknowledging that I know I'm lucky that I haven't had any issues before now. Today's dinner of just over an ounce of baked salmon and 3 slices of pre packaged apple slices with a tsp of peanut butter pretty much sent my mouth sliming almost immediately. About ten minutes later, up she came. The bright side? I was impressed with how well I chewed my dinner.
  3. I had half a glass at 3 weeks out. I took tiny sips and really only had it to blend in since I didn't tell a lot of people. What's funny is that I thought I'd really miss it and coffee, but I just can't "fit" either in anymore bc between the food, protein shakes and fluids, there's no space or time.
  4. I had liquid roxicet and even though I never took the maximum dose it kept me dazed and sleepy.
  5. I took off three weeks. It took me about 9 days to come off the narcotics. Then I still had a bit of pain (manageable with Tylenol), but I was tired. My third week was lovely and I could have been at work. I'm glad I had it though. I went back to work and hit the ground running.
  6. OMG! I noticed the same thing and thought it was just me. I've been brushing and brushing away to no avail.
  7. Thanks everyone for your comments. It helped just to say it out loud. My husband said not to worry myself with it right now, so I think I'm going to do as suggested and wait a month or so. I'm not a hoarder or anything, so I'm hoping that by then I'll be a little more rational about this being REAL.
  8. I've been lurking on the boards for months now and am finally posting. I'm 4 weeks post op and down 20lbs from my surgery weight and 32 lbs from my January high. Here's my issue, I've lost 30 lbs a hundred times or more and every time gained it back. And while my brain knows I'm not going to gain this back, I can't bring myself to get rid of the too big clothes in my closet bc I'm scared I'm going to need them again! I mean I know I won't, but my head hasn't caught up with my brain.
