I know, I received a list of requirements and I did everything they asked. It seems as if they would have told me this six months ago. Now I have to find a support group meeting. Does anyone know if these online forums count as support groups?

I live in NC. I have spent the last six months doing everything that I was told my insurance company required for my surgery to be approved. I have spent countless hours online researching the Vertical Sleeve surgery and reading everything I can concerning it as well. I have never really posted before as I'm kind of a reader and not a poster. Anyway, now my insurance company is saying that they want me to attend two support group meetings before I can get approved. So my questions are: 1. Has anyone ever had this happen before and 2. Does anyone know where I can go to a support group meeting at? I live in Goldsboro, NC. Thanks so much!
