  4. Hi!! This is my first time on the forum, and I am looking for advice. I am 31 yrs. old, and considering lapband. I am about 100lbs over weight and my bmi is 38. My parents and brother are diabetic and I do not want to end up in that. I am not so nervous about the procedure as much as the after. Do you experience of nausia? Is is easy to become chocked? I am very excited to be able to do this, if the doc. agrees. Also does anyone is Mississippi know of a good Dr. in MS, or LA. I have heard of Dr.Clark Warden is good in Slidell, LA.
